Lesson Plan

Above is a sample lesson structure as well as the slideshow I used to teach this lesson.

  1. Have students state  there name and pronouns + one thing they think about when they think about Israel

  2. Introduce Ground Rules

  3. Introduce Objectives

  4. Introduce Questions

  5. Play Stand With Us video with no context of organization

  6. Have students answer questions

  7. Show information about Stand With Us

  8. Repeat with Jewish Voices for Peace

  9. If there is time have students play 4 corners with statements about Israel, the Occupation, and the information presented in the two videos

  10. End class by having students write/ draw a reflection of what they learned and have them post it on a platform such as padlet or jam board
